This is one of my favorite cakes. I love that the hotdog looks like a hot dog! I made it for a friend for their birthday. They are a wonder on the grill! the hamburger, hotdog and condiments on the burgers are all made from rolled buttercream icing. It was just like working with clay. the three gray things on top of the grill are marshmallows cut in half and sprayed with black coloring to look like charcoal. I wasn't thrilled with the way they turned out. I found a the local store the "spatula" that is under one of the burgers. It is actually a cheese slicer - it was the perfect scaled down size to work on the grill that I made.

parts of my final cake from the Fondant & Gumpaste class that Wilton teaches at Michaels. I had colored the fondant from another cake that I had made and didn't want to waste it, so this is why my cake is so colorful.
